Connect Your WhatsApp Number
WaConnect is a multi-tenant platform. You can connect your own Meta Business Account and WhatsApp phone numbers directly — no need to create your own Meta Developer App.
Simple onboarding: Just log in with your Facebook account, select or create your WhatsApp Business Account, add your phone number, and you are ready to go.

How It Works
1. Click "Connect WhatsApp"
The button above launches Meta's Embedded Signup flow in a secure popup window. This is the same official process used by all WhatsApp Business Solution Providers.
2. Log In with Facebook
Authenticate using your Facebook or Meta Business credentials. This verifies your identity and links your business to the platform.
3. Select or Create Your WABA
Choose an existing WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) from your Meta Business portfolio, or create a new one. You can also select an existing Business Portfolio or create one on the spot.
4. Add Your Phone Number
Enter the phone number you want to use for WhatsApp messaging. Meta will send a verification code via SMS or voice call to confirm ownership.
5. Grant Permissions
Approve the WaConnect platform to manage your WhatsApp Business Account. This grants the following permissions:

6. You Are Connected
Once the flow completes, WaConnect automatically receives your WABA ID, Phone Number ID, and a secure access token. Your account is created automatically and your administrator will provide you with your API key.
What You Own
You retain full ownership of your WhatsApp Business Account, phone numbers, and message templates. You can access them anytime via WhatsApp Manager. WaConnect acts as a Tech Provider with delegated access only.
Billing
As a customer onboarded via a Tech Provider, you are responsible for your own WhatsApp messaging costs. You must add a payment method (credit card) to your WhatsApp Business Account in Meta Business Suite > Billing.
WaConnect does not handle Meta billing on your behalf. The platform fee (if any) is separate from Meta's per-conversation charges.
Alternative: Manual WABA Sharing
If you prefer not to use the Embedded Signup button, you can manually share your WhatsApp Business Account with the WaConnect platform:
- Go to Meta Business Suite > Business Settings > Partners.
- Click Add and enter the WaConnect platform's Meta Business Account ID (provided by your administrator).
- Grant the Manage WhatsApp Business Account permission.
- Provide your Phone Number ID and WABA ID to the administrator so they can complete your account setup.
After Onboarding
Once your number is connected, you can immediately:
- Send messages via the API using your WaConnect API Key
- Receive incoming messages via Webhooks
- Test interactively using the Dashboard Chat Simulator
- Track delivery status via the Status API
